Atasi Anak Susah Makan Part I

BAGI seorang ibu yang memiliki anak balita, problem yang sering dihadapi pada umumnya adalah anak susah makan. Biasanya, masalah susah makan ini dihadapi anak-anak yang berusia satu hingga empat tahun. Penyebab, anak susah makan dikarenakan banyak hal. Penyebabnya bisa dikarenakan anak merasa bosan dengan hidangan atau menu makan serta cara penyajian makanan. Coba ibu yang merasakan makanan makanan yang rasanya itu-itu saja selama enam bulan. Tentunya, merasa bosan bukan?

Anak-anak pun juga merasakan hal yang sama. Bila menu makanan bayi hingga ia sudah berusia lebih enam bulan, kamu masih memberikan rasa makanan atau bubur yang itu-itu saja. Tentu dia merasa bosan, sehingga berdampak pada ogah makan. Belum lagi cara penyajian makanan yang bercampur aduk karena di blender antara lauk pauknya membuatnya jadi ifeel.

Nah, ada baiknya bagi orangtua, terutama ibu agar lebih memvariasikan hidangan atau menu makanan anak. Bila diperlukan, buatlah daftar hidangan menu selama seminggu agar mempermudah ibu mengatur variasi makanan. Selain itu juga cara penyajian makanan, yang menarik juga penting sekali. Jangan selalu mencampur adukkan makanan. Sebaiknya pisahkan nasi dengan lauk pauknya. Plus kalau bisa di hias dengan aneka warna dan bentuk. Bila perlu cetak makanan dengan cetakan kue yg lucu.

MEMBERIKAN susu pada anak memang baik. Tetapi minum susu terlalu banyak juga tidak baik bagi anak. Terkadang, sebagai ibu merasa sangat repot dan tak sabar saat memberikan anak makanan. Sehingga alteratif yang diberikan susu. Atau karena anak susah makan, dari pada sang anak merasa kelaparan diberikan susu yang berlebihan. Susu bagi anak yang sudah mulai menginjak usia setahun sudah bukan lagi hal wajib, saat ia masih berusia satu hingga sembilan bulan.

Bila dilihat dari segi gizi, susu hanyalah untuk memenuhi kebutuhan kalsium dan fosfor saja. Kalsium dan fosfor ini bisa di dapat dengan mudah melalui ikan-ikanan, sayuran dan buah-buahan. Sebaiknya kurangi susu untuk anak yang sudah memasuki usia di atas satu tahun. Lebih baik susu diberikan hanya dua gelas sehari. Karena itu ada baiknya orangtua sudah mulai melatih anak dengan berbagai jenis makanan yang bergizi.

TIDAK baik memberikan makanan cemilan padat kalori saat menjelang jam makan. Karena cemilan yang diberikan membuat anak merasa tidak lapar lagi. Cemilan seperti permen, minuman ringan, coklat hingga snack yang mengnadung MSG dan sebagainya ini tidak baik diberikan menjelang makan siang dan malam. Akibat cemilan yang diberikan ketika jam makan tiba membuat sang anak sudah merasa kekenyangan.

Sebaiknya saat memberikan makanan selingan atau cemilan jauh sebelum jam makan tiba. Ada baiknya juga memberikan cemilan yang sehat, seperti potongan buah, sayur
kukus, keju, yoghurt, es krim, cake yang bisa divariasikan sendiri. (dari berbagai sumber)
